What is Gauntlet?

Gauntlet is a Decentralized Finance (DeFi) protocol designed to harvest yield and turn them into a targeted asset on the Solana network. Previously, if you harvest RAY from Raydium by providing RAY-SOL liquidity pair and want to collect SOL, you have to swap RAY to SOL from Raydium from time to time, which can be an expensive and annoying process. Gauntlet solves such problems by combining harvesting and swapping processes to let people collect targeted assets automatically with socialized transaction costs. Also, those targeted assets are deposited into Earn and it automatically shifts capital as opportunities arise. For example, Earn can deposit assets to lending protocols such as Port or zap them into LP tokens then compounds yield.

Core Procedures

Harvest

The Harvest is the first procedure that generates yield automatically from the capital pools which users have selected. It benefits users by socializing transaction costs, automating yield farming. End-users can select any pool that they want to earn yield by providing liquidity.

Swap

The Swap converts yield into a targeted asset to socialize transaction costs, which provides a few assets which are popular and easy to be invested in other DeFi services to compose money legos to maximize the profit. This procedure is executed at a specific cycle or whenever a specific condition is met.

Earn

The Earn procedure compounds yield from other Defi protocols such as Port. Through this process, users can maximize their profit by socializing the transaction cost and changing their yield into more promising assets. This procedure is also executed at a specific cycle or whenever a specific condition is met.
